Sam Michel is a Highland, IN native. A passion for sports also led Sam to have an interest in broadcasting. With that interest, Sam attended Purdue University Northwest and majored in communication. After graduating in the fall of 2015, Sam started to work at WJOB first as an intern and play-by-play broadcaster. Sam is the Executive Producer for "Danny Mac's Friday Tailgate" and the Danny Mac Podcast, in addition to his role as Sports Director and lead play-by-play voice on basketball and football.
