BroadcastIn 1923, we started as a heritage radio station. It stayed that way for more than nine decades until we moved to the campus of Purdue Northwest. Students and grads made us realize that the Region needs a TV station. Here's what we came up with:
We have built on the 99-year-old spirit of WJOB, which is good and pure and beautiful, to build a TV station that broadcasts local, Region stuff all day long in video. |
BrandYour TV spot plays on streaming video, radio and sometimes social media. All day long it's local news, sports, traffic (ugh), entertainment, etc.
It's all new technology, and we make it pretty easy to buy advertising on it. You can buy streaming video and radio advertising right here on this website - at low prices. Browse the products. If you like something, click, sign up, and pay. If you have questions or want a larger, custom package, call JED at 219-844-1230. He loves to talk about the ROI of advertising on local broadcasting. Boost
This is the model that's worked for 99 years of radio:
With streaming video, we completed the first part. We built one of the most advanced streaming video systems among local media in America. In keeping with the spirit of WJOB, we broadcast hundreds of local segments each week on JEDtv. As businesses like yours discover the merits of placing TV commercials next to local athletes, talk show hosts, newscasters, comedians, etc - for as low as $69 a week - we draw closer to the ultimate goal:
